These hummingbirds can be seen in the Okanagan BC and the Pacific Coast all the way down to mexico. The males will fly 130 feet high and suddenly drop to impress females. They are also pollinators! This one of a kind watercolor is mounted on a wood cradle board. Although it is still delicate and should be handled with care, the painting is protected with beeswax (from my own bees).
