My stay in the Baja desert was sometimes interrupted in the night with cows brushing by my tent. These “Vacas” brought a certain amount of fear but also joy and wonder as I could not figure out how they will eat just about any sort of plant, spines or not. Notice the Costa’s hummingbird in each! This one of a kind set of two watercolors are mounted on a wood cradle board each measuring 3 x 4 x 1 inches.  Although they are delicate and should be handled with care, the paintings are protected with beeswax (from my own bees). The artwork is ready to hang with my signature on the back.
